2018-19 DANCE TEAM VIDEO
DID YOU KNOW: The Binghamton Dance Team won the Union’s Regional Dance Competition, which was held at Bergenfield High School, in Bergenfield, N.J. on Sunday, Jan. 6. Eight of the Dance Team Members competed in the College Team Performance division under the direction of Coach Erin Wilcox. Those team members included Kimberly Abrahall (Jr Captain), Jenna Battaglia (Jr Captain), Gabrielle DeSantis, Richelle Fassler, Morgan Immoor, Gabriella Lizzo, Sophia Pressman, Kelly Stropp. Their Team Performance routine requires a combination of all of the traditional Dance Team styles; Jazz, Hip Hop, & Pom. They were awarded First Place as well as a Banner and Plaque.

About: The Pep Band is a chartered Student Association (SA) at Binghamton University that performs at all home basketball games and select soccer, lacrosse, volleyball and wrestling events. Team travels to postseason men’s and women’s America East Tournament as well as the NCAA Tournament.

Pep Band Director: Maurice ‘Mo’ Taylor
Mo begins his 14th year as the Pep Band Director. In 2009, Taylor was present the Director’s Award for his leadership and dedication to the Pep Band. Known around the league and in the Events Center for his high-energy and fan-friendly style, Taylor became the face of the Screaming Green when the Bearcats played in the NCAA Tournament on national television in 2009. In his spare time, Taylor plays the trombone professionally with the Terry Walker Project, a local band.
