Binghamton University has long been proud of its student-athletes and their many accomplishments – whether they were competing as the Colonials or more recently as the Bearcats.
The spirit and pride in evidence on the Binghamton campus today has build on the legacy of enthusiasm, loyalty and support for our intercollegiate athletics program through the years. This sense of community and shared experiences is solidified by the rituals and traditions in place. The Bearcats Statue Initiative embodies these values and the Bearcats Statue will serve as a visible symbol of this rich legacy and tradition.
