Building on the success of last year's Athletics Alumni Giving Challenge, we will launch the 2019 Challenge on Sept.9, 2019. Your gift of $25 or more will count in the Challenge. Our motto is: Give to inspire others to give.” That is why we are asking you to spread the word to your teammates. Raise money for your team, and have a chance to win the $5,000 prize. Feel good about helping your team and Binghamton University Student-Athletes.
The Athletics Alumni Giving Challenge is made possible by the generosity of William H. Groner '77, who has sponsored the Challenge since its inception. This has become an important fund-raising endeavor for Athletics for the past several years. The goal is to increase participation among former Binghamton student-athletes who contribute to the Athletics Department. The winners of the challenge will be announced in early October. This challenge provides Binghamton University Athletics Alumni with the opportunity to be involved by responding to the financial needs of Binghamton student-athletes, coaches and Athletics Department. Show your Colonial/Bearcat spirit and loyalty and help us to strengthen the tradition of Binghamton Athletics by paying it forward for a more competitive future.

How the challenge works:
Challenge: Athletics alumni will be competing to earn prize money for their team. All gifts of $25 or more donated from alumni student-athlete alumni from Sept. 9-30, 2019 will count toward the challenge.

Prize Structure - Win Prizes for Your Team:
- $5,000 - Highest Athletics Alumni Giving Percentage
- Giving Percentage = Number of donors of a specific varsity team who gave $25 or more divided by the total number of athletics alumni of the specific varsity team.
- $5,000 - Highest Number of Athletics Alumni Donors
*NOTE: If you have already made a gift after July 1, 2019, your gift will automatically be counted for the challenge.
